    vitiligo treatment

    hello everyone,

im new to this site and i just wanted to post some information that would help other people that have vitiligo like i do.

my story: im 19 years old and live in australia. ive had vitiligo for bout 4 to 5 years and its really screwed up my social life. im currently doing uv light treament which has helpped alot, it has cured with my white patches on my face, neck, knees, elbows and some spots on my hands

lucky for me i have a family friend that has vitiligo and hers is much worser then mine. she said she would tell me about some products that she uses and the results. a few months back she told me about this product called MELADININA.  its a pill that helps people tan. it comes in a pill and cream, im currently using both. it has helpped alot. ive gained alot of my colour back on my hands.

Meladinina is really simple to use. you just take the pill with food or milk and wait for 2 hours then go under the sun for 10 mins. ive been taking my pill with milk because i dont eat breakfest but if i did take it with food, i think i would be getting better results as im told the pill is better taken with food.

i get my Meladinina from El Salvador beacuse i have relatives that live there and ive been told the product is about $25 us dollars or so and you can get it from any pharmacy without any prescription

on the cream, it shows a list of countires you can get the product which is most central american countires, the list is:
    -Guatemala
    -Honduras
    -Costa Rica
    -Rep. Dominicana
    -Bolivia
    -Paraguay
    -Nicaragua
    -El Salvador
    -Panama

i reccomend you look into this product, it will help you alot like it has helpped me
if you have any questions, please feel free to ask and ill try my best to answer
and sorry for going on but thanks for taking the time

    Re: vitiligo treatment

    hi,
i think vitiligo is similar to psoriasis, that occurs all over the body,  not even sparing mouth, scalp, nose and other parts as well.
i want to know that the medicine you have suggested is use ful in curing Psoriasis, if it is not then herbal remedies can cure both psoriasis as well as vitiligo

    Re: vitiligo treatment

to be honest i wouldnt have a clue
im no expert on the medicine i suggested
    but from what i know
people take the pill to become darker and that helps in getting the colour back in vitiligo

    isn't psoriasis completely different?
if you lose your skin colour when you have psoriasis than my guess is that it could work

    Re: vitiligo treatment

    Hello everybody,

I have have vitiligo since i was 21 and am now 30. It is slowly filling my hands, mouth, eyes, nose, elbows, armpits and private areas. I has not affected my legs nor feet.

By recomendation from a cousin of mine who has a worse case, i visited a doctor in mexico named Eden Castillo. He has a heavy background in treating Vitiligo and has done extensive reasearch regarding it. Besides being a bit egotistic, I believe he has a wealth of knowlege in the subject of treating this disease.

He started me on one dose of a steroid (Diprospan), a couple boxes of antibiotic (amobay), and some (psoloren) oxsolaren. He also gave me some petroleum jelly like which had what I believe was a B12 topical. He also perscribed meladinina. He started me on one dose of day of Cephaxona, which I have no idea what it is. All these medicines are being taken in random doses as determined by the doctor, please do not take these medicines without a doctors permission.

I bought my medicine in Mexico and send the doctor my photos on a monthly basis by email. He says the only other doctors who are currently prescibing this treatment are in Puerto Rico and Spain.

He promised I would see results in 45 days, and I did see a lot of repigmentation. I did run out of medicine and had to stop treatment, but plan to continue as soon as I or my family return to Mexico.

Please contact me with any questions or recomendations.

    Thank you,

    Fernando
